Hi, I’m sure when we came to Scalea last year there was a day in the week that shops are closed, does anyone know if and when it is?

If you’ve meant supermarkets, then it’s Deco(near our office).
Off season it’s open:
Monday to Saturday 08:00–13:30, 16:00–20:00;
 Sunday 08:00–13:30.
