Just wanted to know how much do you tip in restaurants? Our american friends insisted on tipping at least of 10%, but this is in their culture, innit? We do not have this custom in Britain, but what about Italians? All thought welcome.

No, that’s not what we do in Europe! Waiters here receive salary and in Italy 1–2 EUR per person in usually included in bill, called 'coperto’. So, you tip only if you really want.
