This time we are coming with the car (rental prices are only 10 euro per day!!!) So looking for any advice for sightseeing around Scalea and S.Maria del Cedro withing up to 1 hour one way.

Hi, Lisa, thee is plenty to see:
statue or Jesus in Maratea (similar to the one in Rio), remains of pre-historical people in Papasidero, Statue of Madonna in the mountain in Orsomarso, see street walls paintings in Marcellina and Diamante, Greek acropolis Velia… 

If you’ll go a bit further, like 2–3 hours drive, you can go to Pompei and Vesuvio, Bari, Albarabello, Madeira, even Sicily and Strobmoli.

There is a lot of adventures around!
