Hello We are finding this forum very useful as we will be visiting Calabria from the 10th September 2020 with a view to purchasing a holiday apartment will be using the train services to visit the region We are particularly interested in Scalea as it looks stunning Any advice would be appreciated for example regarding air bnbs and are the trains running normally in the region Many thanks for your help Re: Visiting Calabria

Scalea is a very safe place to visit and live. Always found the locals very friendly and helpful.  Re: Visiting Calabria

Everyone is welcome here. Still no sign of covid even thought Scalea was overflown with holidaymakers in July and August  Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
