All supermarkets in Scalea and nearby cities are full with all products.
Movement between cities is restricted and need permission. Movement inside cities is permitted to and from places of work, pharmacy, supermarket. All streets being sprayed with detergent few times per week.
Riviera dei Cedri remains virus-free zone.

We wish we didn’t return back to UK in the beginning of the March, but stayed in Scalea.
It sounds like safest place in the world now.

They are saying that they also saw few Russians in supermarket. All roads blocked from Praia to about Cetraro, only food lorries are allowed thru, roads sprayed with disinfectant. The only downside that you can’t go to the beach but BBQ on the balcony in the sun would be good enough for me!

My carabinieri friend told me that total 61 non-italian property owners stayed in Scalea and about half of that number in towns nearby. According to local registry, most of them are from USA, UK, Ireland and Russia, few Germans and one family from Norway or Sweden or something like that.
The ones I spoke with are very happy with how situation being handled particularly with the fact that those who overstayed their Visa (who needed it) been told that they will get amnesty.

Weather for the past few days was more than +30°C in the sun!!!
«Tired» of Bbqs on my terrace everyday with my neighbors…
