Hello! Could anyone please describe areas of Scalea. Would be interested in general description pros/cons type of thing. Thank you in advance.

here you go:
— piano lettieri (at the back of station) quiet, but a bit far 1 mile from everything
— pantano — 3 miles from the centre to south and about 1/2 mile from the beach. dead in the winter
— panoramica — group of villas just above 'black rocks’ beach — posh, but a bid of walk is involved to the beach and back. mostly expensive villas. few expensive apartments.
— petrosa — on the mountain, on the back of panoramica — lots of walking up and down… lots and lots of cheap apartments. dead in the winter
— monticello — a small mountain in the middle… few steps, but very centrally located. lots of inexpensive apartments with great views and few steps from centre. also quite a few very expensive villas at the back. good location.

that’s about it, enjoy!

Just came back from Scalea, so can say it all depends what are you looking for. Only Monticello combines views and cenrtal location. If you are happy without either, then you can go for any area.
